CAREER OPPORTUNITY Georgia United Credit Union is a full-service

Manager at our Athens location. This position provides effective
leadership to manage and guide through a changing environment with
emphasis on member experience, asset growth, efficient operations
and the professional development of team members. Responsible for
branch loan and deposit objectives and goals to grow business
through offering value-added solutions to make an impact in the
lives of members and the communities where the credit union serves.
Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed while
educating members and mentoring team members to achieve positive
outcomes. Empowers team members who are held accountable for
attainment of goals with shared ownership and positively influences
morale and a cohesive team environment throughout the branch.
Responsibilities: Responsible for achieving financial, sales and
service goals as determined by the credit union's strategic plan
through consistent coaching, professional development and inspiring
productive branch team members. Serves as the sales leader,
communicates sales philosophy, conducts weekly sales meeting, and
ensures branch is obtaining or exceeding goals by tailoring
value-added recommendations of products, services, and digital
solutions to members. Reviews expectations of sales and service
production goals and monitors team member's overall performance,
including consistent behaviors in member conversations and
interactions. Coaches to enhance performance and provides positive
reinforcement to recognize and reward team members. Directs and
administers branch budgets and operations to achieve financial
performance. Ensures that services are delivered professionally and
efficiently, and member requests and problems are resolved
promptly. Listens and resolves member concerns and effectively uses
information to coach team members to enhance the service provided.
Handles escalated member concerns as needed. Collaborates and
assists with Business Development programs to acquire new member
relationships and expand existing relationships to enhance the
growth and recognition of the credit union. Supervises work
schedules and workflow of daily routine operations. Keeps accurate
payroll and attendance records. Completes orientation of new team
members in overall branch procedures and tracks individual progress
to ensure that team members are trained in all phases of their
respective positions. Facilitates regular meetings with team
members to communicate expectations, negotiates potential conflicts
and influences changes in procedure. Responsible for operational
audits, regulations and compliance policies and procedures,
including but not limited to the prevention of losses through
fraudulent activity. Responsible for determining that proper
controls of monetary instruments, overnight depository items, and
cash (if applicable) are properly controlled and handled in
accordance with credit union procedure. Ensures branch security and
oversees prudent safety measures. Coordinates the procedures
necessary to open and close the building in accordance with set
hours and tests security equipment monthly. Ensures proper
maintenance and general housekeeping of the building, grounds, work
areas and equipment. Coordinates maintenance requests with
applicable departments as needed. Assumes role and responsibilities
of a Member Consultant when providing financial counseling and
services to members. Completes special projects, and other duties
as assigned. Promotes and establishes strong, positive, and
productive working relationships within the organization through
commitment to the company's purpose and mission statement and core
values. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent
required. Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance related study
preferred. 5+ years' experience in financial and loan management
preferably with a Credit Union or banking institution. 2+ years' of
supervisory experience. Proven sales management skills, including
prospecting, cross selling, pipeline, and activity management.
Currently holds NMLS license or must be able to obtain license as
part of standard job duties. Currently has notary license or must
be able to obtain license as part of standard job duties. Computer
proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
