Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Controller to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position, perfect for a seasoned professional who is eager to apply their expertise in property accounting to manage and oversee our company's real estate assets. You will be responsible for the overall accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control procedures of our property portfolio. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where you can truly make a difference. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the company's real estate portfolio, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. 2. Implement and maintain efficient and effective property accounting systems and internal control procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting. 3. Prepare and analyze annual budgets and forecasts, and report on variances. 4. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit processes and ensure all required information is provided accurately and on time. 5. Work closely with property managers to ensure accurate and timely cash management, including the collection of rents and payment of expenses. 6. Review and approve property-related invoices and ensure they are properly recorded and paid. 7. Monitor and analyze property performance and market trends to provide strategic recommendations to senior management. 8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 9. Provide leadership and guidance to the property accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is a plus. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role. 3. Proficient in property management software and accounting systems. 4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and budgeting. 5. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. 6. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. 7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 10.
