Responsibilities Office Manager Aiken Regional Medical Centers,
located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility

Manager will coordinates administrative, technical and records
management support for the Administrative team. Supervises assigned
administrative staff. Serves as communication liaison between
senior executive offices, corporate office, and various
constituencies of the facility. Manage executive schedules and
communications to ensure effective and efficient operations by
analyzing activities and needs and coordinating support. Creates
and drafts reports, letters, and presentations. Manage all aspects
of meetings and travel for executives. Manage departmental
operations of the executive to ensure an efficient work
environment. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in
delegating work assignments. Must maintain confidentiality,
professional correspondence, timely management of assigned
projects. Duties: Types, reviews, and distributes written
correspondence and dictation as requested, achieving timely
turnaround of quality product. Manages executives’ schedules to
include appointments and travel. Coordinates meetings and facility
events as assigned. Coordinates and attends hospital meetings as
requested, to include, recording and transcribing minutes,
assisting with agenda preparation, notifying meeting participants,
and maintaining file of minutes. Conducts research, assembles and
analyzes data to prepare and present various reports and documents.
Reports all relevant information regarding patient care,
physicians, and organizational operations, to Administrative Team
as necessary. Manages confidential record maintenance and responds
to a high volume of sensitive, confidential information in a
professional manner. Exhibits flexibility and creativity in
reaching organizational goals. Exercises independent judgment in
decision making for daily operational issues. Manages assigned
facility contracts to ensure compliance with policies and that
contracts are renewed and approved in a timely manner. Demonstrates
effective communication skills through collaboration with all
healthcare team members, patients, visitors, vendors, and the
community ensuring optimal outcomes and stressing customer
relations. Hires and trains administrative staff. Monitors
performance of assigned staff and conducts performance evaluations.
Manages office operations and staff to ensure effective workflow,
accomplishment of goals and responsibilities and services to
customers. Delegates work duties, sets performance goals with
administrative staff as appropriate. Implements office procedures
and systems to maximize operating efficiency. Oversees departmental
