Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position requires personal leadership and cross-functional team skills to achieve company goals. Must think critically, with creative intuition and clear understanding of actions to meet objectives. Must operate with speed in entrepreneurial spirit while working in a culture of discipline to support development and adherence to standard work.

  • Digital marketing management - Familiarity or well-versed in digital marketing efforts including PPC, SEO, Google Analytics and proper website optimization
    • Working in conjunction with the Marketing Services team to ensure proper website presence, performance, and optimization, especially in relation to lead generation
    • Monitor and analyze competitors - stay abreast and document significant changes to their position in the marketplace
    • Communication - liaise with stakeholders to keep all apprised of pending projects and obligations
      • Translation and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, with ability to show understanding and actions related to the KPIs especially in relation to lead generation and digital marketing
      • Copywriting - operate as a hands-on contributor as needed - writing, editing, proofreading materials for publication
      • Desktop publishing - using Adobe InDesign, make changes to established templates, or existing documents or pages, such as changing images, modifying text, and creating a PDF proof.
      • Tradeshows - participate with strategic and tactical perspective, from idea to tear-down, to strategic reasoning and justification for attendance, make product display recommendations, and help drive traffic to our booth.
      • Work with respective marketing owners for print, digital, tradeshow, CRM, and branding/design to ensure projects are clear and progress with speed to completion.
      • Develop and maintain marketing project calendar and dashboard to report key metrics of site, program and campaign performance
      • Maintain brand style standards - ensure consistency between print, offline, and online marketing campaigns and overall marketing strategy
      • Photography - support development, i.e., photoshoots, art direction.
      • Miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales, office and marketing-related objectives
        Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
        • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related business administration from an accredited educational institution
        • Minimum six years' experience in marketing, business administration, or related field
        • Functional and working experience with Adobe creative suite of products, e.g., InDesign
        • Project management - must work on cross-functional environment to drive projects, create and prioritize related tasks, manage multiple obligations, and meet deadlines while under pressure
        • Problem-solving and organization - ability to assimilate information and potentially conflicting ideas into coherent and logical outcomes.
        • Technical aptitude - experience in translating and communicating complex technical topics to execute the actions with easy-to-understand benefits.
        • Communication - excellent written and verbal communication skills - experience in creating, composing, writing, and editing materials
        • Business acumen - possess insight to larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into overall strategy
        • Sense for good design based on industry best practices; maintain brand standards.
        • Ability to work in both a team environment, and independently, with limited direction, when necessary, to achieve objectives
        • Leadership - collaborate team of marketing contributors, commercial team members, operations and engineering, and others as part of cross-functional teams
        • Flexibility - be able to improvise and adjust to shifting priorities; positive "can-do" attitude.
        • Ability to travel up to 25%
          Working Conditions
          • Able to lift and carry 20 lbs to waist and overhead with proper lifting techniques.
          • Ability to use sit in an office setting for up to 8 hours per day.
