This position offers an opportunity to contribute as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting, working onsite in McDonough, GA. The role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in an elementary school environment. Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and support personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Active Special Education license is required. Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification with elementary endorsements. Prior school experience in special education is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and collaborate with stakeholders.
