Description:Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a mid-level
structural engineer to join our Structural Engineering Group in our
Atlanta, Georgia office. This engineer will have the opportunity to
work on a broad range of project types with many different
structural materials. This position will provide opportunities to
gain experience in both new building structural design and existing
building investigations and retrofits. Additionally, this role is
in a new and growing office, so the position will include a broad
mix of opportunities for client interaction and career growth. A
typical work week can include drawing development, project
coordination, engineering calculations, Construction Administration
tasks, and site visits. This position allows for interactions with
owners, architects, and contractors as you build relationships
throughout the project life cycle. While many of our projects are
located in Georgia, Martin/Martin's national footprint provides
opportunities to work on projects around the country.We operate in

broad range of structural engineering skills, demonstrate a

high-quality designs for our clients.Duties and Responsibilities

- Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact
throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to
produce high-quality project documentation using computer design
and graphics software programs.
- Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff
regarding career development, design techniques, software, and code
questions.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and
design budgets.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through project work

ProjectsRequirements:Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Registered PE license in the State of Georgia or ability to
obtain one within 3 months
- Four years minimum total structural engineering experience, one
of which can be from a Master's degree.Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an
emphasis on Structures.
- Registered SE license in Georgia or a state with equal or more
restrictive requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of building and material codes.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and
technical skills.
- Committed to client service and a team-based approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and
development.
- Experience following engineering projects from start of design
