Assists Automation team to find the ideal setup for the Factory flow Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Drafts and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Identifies and negotiates with other Internal functional areas for required personnel. Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Ensures correct information for quotations Cost Feasibility Cycle time estimation Efficiencies Machine and mold configuration Secondary packaging layout Projects or sub-projects Other duties as assigned What Makes You Great Education: Minimum 2-year degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, 4-year degree (Bachelor) preferred Experience: 3 to 5 years experience as an Engineer in production is required, preferably within the plastics industry, Technical Engineering background is preferred Skills: Strong organizational skills Effective communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude and skills Mechanical and electrical skills Knowledge of packaging systems Ability to create engineering drawings Experience with Microsoft Office Thorough understanding of technical aspects of different types of equipment Certifications/Licenses: Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or Black Belt), preferred, not required PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred, not required CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred, not required Other Requirements: Travel within the US up to 70% or more is expected Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
