Job Description Job Description Overview: We’re seeking a
skilled Refrigeration Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of
ammonia refrigeration, steam, and boiler systems. This role is
responsible for ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, and repair
while managing a high-performing refrigeration team and maintaining
compliance with OSHA and PSM standards. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage powerhouse and refrigeration personnel to
ensure consistent facility performance. Oversee safety protocols
and coordinate with management in emergent or federally regulated
situations. Prepare, execute, and supervise preventive maintenance
schedules. Identify and resolve issues that could impact facility
operations. Maintain all OSHA and PSM documentation accurately and
on time. Train team members in equipment operation and support RETA
certification goals. Manage and maintain the refrigeration
department budget. Ensure all systems comply with OSHA, ASHRAE, and
PSM regulations. Lead and manage projects related to ammonia and
steam systems. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and
Experience: Required: Technical School Certification in a
maintenance/refrigeration -related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on ammonia refrigeration maintenance
experience. Strong understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM)
. Proven troubleshooting and operational expertise. Excellent
organization and documentation skills. Leadership or supervisory
experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology,
or related field. Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulatory
