Our growing company is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support residential and multi-family properties. As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll work directly with residents, property managers, and internal teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems. You’ll be trusted to represent the company in the field, deliver high-quality service, and communicate clearly and honestly with customers. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement Conduct residential and commercial maintenance and installation of equipment Test newly installed components to ensure proper function Complete preventative maintenance and warranty services for customers Present customers with a total for the HVAC services, repairs, and installation What You’ll Do: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and multi-family HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance and system inspections Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options Clearly explain findings, repair needs, and solutions in a professional and approachable manner Complete work orders accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety standards, company procedures, and local codes Work independently while also collaborating with the maintenance and management team Qualifications: Able to communicate clearly and effectively, and an exceptional problem-solver EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification required We require candidates have a high school diploma or GED Candidate must obtain required state and local HVAC technician licenses What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with residential and/or multi-family HVAC systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation EPA Certification (required) HVAC Certificate (required) Certification or an associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school, or 2 yearsof experience in the field as an HVAC helper or equivalent About Company Augusta Rental Homes is the highest-rated and largest property management company in Augusta, GA.
