Job Description:

an experienced Auto Technician to join our skilled team. Since

integrity in the industry. As an Auto Technician at CarMax, you
will play a crucial role in ensuring that our high standards of
vehicle safety and customer satisfaction are met. You will work
with top-of-the-line technology in well-equipped facilities to
service, diagnose, and repair vehicles while consistently providing
a superior customer experience. Perform work specified on
maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance
with dealership standards Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive
systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering,
suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments Explain
mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner
to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical
information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to
stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Extensive knowledge
of automotive systems and components Excellent manual dexterity
skills as well as physical stamina Strong diagnostic skills and
problem-solving ability Proficiency with electronic testing
equipment Ability to communicate clearly and provide excellent
customer service Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k ASE
Certification (National Institute for Automotive Service
Excellence) is strongly preferred Valid driver’s license and a good
driving record
