"The Job Matters"What's the Job?The Continuous Improvement Manager works with all functions and departments of the site to design, implement, monitor, improve and maintain the manufacturing process. This includes leading the introduction and implementation of key WCM/CI initiatives which will drive performance improvement at all levels of the facility. The incumbent will develop and implement communication guidelines, standards and tools necessary to support the plants standards and a uniform approach in the plant.

  • Support site application of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and other Continuous Improvement (CI) methods and systems to reduce costs and improve safety, quality, productivity, and other key performance metrics
  • Guide and advise site Plant Manager and Management Team in the planning of initiatives needed to meet business Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Must-Win Battles (MWB's)
  • Work cross-functionally to collaborate and drive process improvements in all areas of the plant"Your Skills Matter"What do you bring?
    • BS degree in Engineering, Production Management, Logistics or related discipline is desired.
    • Must have 6-8 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment with CI, WCM, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles in place. (WCM / Six Sigma Lean Green or Black Belt certification preferred)
    • Must have the ability to develop and implement process improvement solutions and be able to identify process issues and provide solutions.
    • Must be able to work independently and act as a leader/member of a team to identify and design solutions to technical issues and to improve process control and reduce costs.
    • The incumbent must know how to prepare reports, flow diagrams and charts and be able to communicate and interact well with all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills are required and must be able to develop, implement and lead a CI/WCM implementation project.
    • Computer literacy in MS Office is required.This position requires the engineer is on call 24 hours a day to handle any process issue that may arise.
