Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Learning & Development partners with the
Director of Learning & Development to develop and implement a
comprehensive learning strategy which supports faculty and staff
development as well as the critical business needs for the
University of Georgia.
The Assistant Director of Learning & Development leads an effective
and motivated team of learning and development specialists who
design and develop experiential development opportunities through
instructional materials, facilitation workshops, team retreats, and
individual coaching for the university community and is responsible
for the daily operations of the Learning & Development Team.
The Assistant Director understands the organization's key business
drivers in order to function as business partners with university
leadership. Is responsible for building trust and respect for the
HR Learning & Development program and gain the confidence of others
at all levels in the organization.
The Assistant Director will creatively apply professional
knowledge, skills and abilities to strategize and plan, coordinate
and administer program(s) that:
