This position is responsible for leading the data analytics strategy, overseeing a team of analysts, developing data infrastructure, and extracting actionable insights from organizational data to inform critical business decisions. The Director also ensures that data quality and governance practices are implemented across the IT landscape to drive operational efficiency and strategic planning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.Preferred Qualifications

    • Led and manage the medical school's business intelligence and data analytics team to deliver high-quality insights and reports.
    • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support the growth of educational programs and research initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
    • Design and implement robust data warehousing and data lake architectures to store and manage large datasets.
    • Ensure seamless data integration across various systems and data sources.
    • Evaluate and implement new data analytics tools and technologies to enhance capabilities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including faculty, administrative staff, and research departments, to identify and translate institutional needs into data solutions.
    • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making within the medical school.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through effective data management practices tailored to the medical school environment.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data analytics methodologies and tools to support the MSM's mission.
