Summary:The AR Manager oversees the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records. This includes managing invoicing and collections, as well as resolving billing discrepancies and overseeing the team responsible for these tasks. --Responsibilities:Train and manage AR staff, ensuring efficient and effective performanceManage the auditing and posting of rental car revenue, ensuring accuracy and timeliness--Manage entire invoicing process including invoice setup and posting of payments utilizing the accounting platform Sage-Intacct--Manage month end process including reconciling balances to the general ledger, preparing month end reports, and preparing general ledger entriesPrepare and analyze aging reports and follow up on overdue accountsField questions from operations on AR mattersManage chargebacks, including setup and responseIdentify areas for improvement in the AR process and implement new procedures to streamline operationsAssist management with special projectsQualifications:Degree in Accounting/Finance or Management2-5 years recent experience in Accounts Receivable, credit control/debt collections--Prior supervisory experienceExperience with Sage/Intacct a plusProficient in ExcelExcellent organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsThis description is not all-inclusive.
