Job DescriptioniTrust Wellness Group, LLC is looking for an
actively certified medical assistant to work in an outpatient
mental health office setting. An ideal candidate has a strong
interest in mental health, a desire to learn, and a passion for
providing excellent patient care in a collaborative, team-focused
environment. Both experienced and newer medical assistants are
welcome to apply to this position. We are a rapidly growing office
and are looking for a medical assistant that is interested in
utilizing the latest research, technology, and practice guidelines

medical assistants who will both coordinate with their team members
and operate independently to ensure successful client outcomes.
Responsibilities:The medical assistant role is a mixture of
administrative tasks with a heavy focus in clinical care
coordination, fulfilling various requirements in these categories:
- Answering phone calls promptly and professionally
- Responding to text messages and emails promptly and
professionally
- Writing emails, letters, and more in a clear and concise
manner
- Interacting with clients in a positive and compassionate
manner
- Gaining proficiency with the EMR system to improve client
experience
- Completing prior authorization requests for medications
- Preparing and giving injectable medications to clients
- Ordering and managing inventory of sample medications and
specialty medications
- Collecting vital signs
- Administering clinical testing, including UDS panels and
Genesight swabs
- Communicating with other offices and pharmacies regarding
medications and other aspects of care coordination
- Properly scheduling and rescheduling appointments for
clients
- Checking out clients by scheduling future appointments and
collecting payment
- Collaborating with administrative staff and providers as a
team
- Maintaining our company culture and upholding our company
values Requirements:
- Active certification as a Medical Assistant
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused, positive approach toward client care
- Consistent reliability, professional provision of services, and
the highest level of integrity Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with or interest in working with the mental health
community
- Experience with an EMR system
- Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and
Teams
- Prior experience operating within a private practice/outpatient
