medical assistant to work in an outpatient mental health office
setting. -An ideal candidate has a -strong interest in -mental
health, a desire to learn, and -a passion for -providing excellent
patient care -in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Both
experienced -and newer medical assistants -are welcome to apply to
this position. We are a rapidly growing office and are looking for
a -medical assistant -that is interested in utilizing the latest

outcomes. - -Responsibilities:The medical assistant role is a
mixture of administrative tasks with a heavy focus in clinical care
coordination, fulfilling various requirements in these categories:

- Answering phone calls promptly and professionally -
- Responding to text messages and emails promptly and
professionally -
- Writing emails, letters, and more in a clear and concise manner

- Interacting with clients in a positive and compassionate manner

- Gaining proficiency with the EMR system to improve client
experience -
- Completing prior authorization requests for medications -
- Preparing and giving injectable medications to clients -
- Ordering and managing inventory of sample medications and
specialty medications -
- Collecting vital signs -
- Administering clinical testing, including UDS panels -and
-Genesight -swabs -
- Communicating with other offices and pharmacies regarding
medications and other aspects of care coordination -
- Properly scheduling and rescheduling appointments for clients

- Checking out clients by scheduling future appointments and
collecting payment -
- Collaborating with administrative staff and providers as a team

- Active certification as a Medical Assistant - -
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - - -
- Client-focused, positive approach toward client care - - -
- Consistent reliability, professional provision of services, and

- Experience with -or interest in -working with -the mental
health community - -
- Experience with an EMR system -
- Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and
