Job Description:
DescriptionRESPONSIBLE FOR:The Trauma Injury Prevention and
Outreach Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who develops and
maintains the trauma injury prevention and outreach programs as set
forth by the guidelines established by the American College of
Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated
trauma program. This position utilizes the trauma registry in the
development of outreach and educationprograms for the community and
professionally within local Piedmont
Hospitals.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelors Degree
in, NursingMinimum Experience RequiredMinimum of two years of
experience in health education and/or in Emergency/Critical Care of
the Trauma patient required.Minimum Licensure/Certification
Required By LawCurrent License in the State of Georgia as a
Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.Additional
QualificationsBLS RequiredPALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC preferred.
