Saturday, Sunday, Monday BlockMinimum Experience: 2 years; 1st
Timers are acceptedPatient Population: Pediatrics to
GeriatricsCertifications Required: BLS Required; ACLS
PreferredGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Orthopedic,
Neuro experience required, ability to circulate and perform
conscious sedation; trauma experience preferredRatio / Census: 1:1;
17 OR RoomsUnit Systems: Pyxis and Epic (Preferred)Scrub Color:
Provided by the facilityRTO: MAX 7 daysWeekends: Depends on the
shiftFloating: Not specifiedCall Requirements: Depends on the
shift. Days - 4 call days, 2 (3P-7P) and 2 (3P-11P) and 2 weekend
days for 12 hours. Nights - After 3P then they take 11P-7A call and
the weekendsHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her
assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two
major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is
expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall
in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
of the holidays.Major Holidays are listed below:New Year's Eve and
Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1Memorial Day: Monday,
May 27Independence Day: Thursday, July 4Labor Day: Monday,
September 2Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 &
Friday November 29Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 &
Monday, December 25Compliance: Full compliance required to start on
time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to
bi-weekly orientation schedule.
