We are seeking a dedicated, and qualified RN to join our team to lead our Infection Prevention, QAPI and Staff Education Programs! The ideal applicant will be hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, dynamic, and high-motivated.Location: Rockmart, GAStatusFull-TimeShift8AM - 4:30PMPay Range$32 - $40 based on licensing and experienceRESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive)Infection Preventionu Assist with the collection of specimens from residents and staff to test for COVID-19 and other infectious diseasesu Assist with various aspects of infection control including but not limited to educating employees on hygiene best practices, social distancing, and mask sanitationu Work in collaboration with the Corporate Infection Prevention Nurse Manageru Perform other duties as assignedQuality Improvementu Implements and monitors the organizations quality improvement program.u Ensures there are processes in place to monitor and measure all activities related to performance improvement in all facility departments.u Ensures processes are in place to monitor and evaluate safety and risk management programs that impact both patients and staff within the facility.Staff Education Coordinatoru Responsible for assisting in identifying training needs and in planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility.u This position matches the learning needs of nursing staff and non-nursing staff with educational programs designed to meet dynamic resident care demands.u Responsible for ensuring compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation.Requirementsu Possession of a valid Georgia RN license which is in good standing.u Ability to meet all health requirements, including a drug screen.u Ability to pass a criminal background check.u Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.Our focus on high-quality results creates a challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.
