Job Description:
Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology /
Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum
years of experience required. License: State license required.
Certifications: ARRT and BLS required. Must-Have: Experience with
EPIC EMR (1 year minimum). Description: Shift is 5x8s from 8:00 AM
to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch included. The goal is to keep
staff in their home unit. However, agency staff may be required to
float to other units and/or campuses per request due to census
concerns. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for and
performing tasks for which competencies have already been
demonstrated and documented. Applicable modules are billable, up to
16 hours. Modules are completed prior to starting and not included
in non-billable hours, and completed annually. Modules will be
recorded in transcripts by the organization. If any issues arise,
staff should consult their supervisor.
