Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER I) - Location: NGMC Gainesville—Gainesville, GA - Start Date: July 29, 2025 - Contract Length: 12 Weeks (Ends October 25, 2025) - Unit: GSV Resource Pool - Cost Center: 203570 - Float Requirement: Yes—between all NGHS campuses Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses to join the GSV Resource Pool at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Gainesville . As a contract RN in this dynamic role, you will support multiple campuses and care settings including Emergency Rooms , Observation Units , and occasionally Med/Surg units. Assignment includes rotating shifts across the following campuses : Gainesville Braselton Lumpkin Barrow Habersham Schedule & Shift Details: Shifts: Nights or Mid Shifts (based on availability) Schedule: 3 shifts per week (6 shifts bi-weekly max) Shift Length: 12 hours Work Week: Monday to Sunday No overtime or holiday shifts available Local Radius Rule: Must live 50 miles from the facility to qualify for traveler rates Requirements: Active GA or Compact RN license Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred Must be comfortable floating across ERs and Med/Surg units holding admitted patients Willingness to work across 5 NGHS campuses Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)—AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS (Stroke Certification) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
