Responsibilities Lead Licensed Therapist Aiken Regional Medical
Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care
facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents

Behavioral Health ), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER

Licensed Therapist performs psychiatric social service functions,
to include assessments, group therapy, family therapy, treatment
planning, discharge planning and coordination with referral
sources. Duties: Steps in to fill gaps created by staffing
shortages. Performs groups for unit therapist when needed. Conducts
brief behavioral interventions as needed. Prepares court
documentation and attends hearing. Manages accounting of
involuntary admissions and documentation Assists staff in reviewing
and updating treatment plans as needed. Trains new staff and
interns. Assists DCS/DSS with PI/Compliance audits. Provides
individual therapy sessions for PHP/IOP patients. Assists with
PHP/IOP specialty track groups as needed. Charts every session.
Charges per service. Participates in program development meetings.
Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor. Other duties

Minimum of a master’s level in social work, psychology, or a
related field. Work experience requirements: Minimum three years
experience in mental health setting. Involvement in court cases,
quality and process improvement and Inpatient and Outpatient/PHP
experience. Required licenses/ certifications/courses: Full state
license(LPC, LMFT, LISW-CP or LISW-AP, etc.) required. EEO
