Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: Required to have relevant certifications Must-Have: - Open to working weekends every other week - Flexibility to float within facility/scope of practice as needed - Availability to work holidays as required Description: This position involves providing respiratory therapy in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care. Candidates must maintain full compliance to start on time. Travelers should be prepared to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. If two major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two. Orientation consists of 13 hours of training. Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation. All candidates must submit core items and complete/schedule labs promptly to ensure an on-time start. References from two supervisory sources are highly preferred. Only candidates who have not worked in the specific facilities for a full year are eligible for rebooking. Candidates must be able to respond to any requests for time off, particularly during holiday periods. Modules and hours are recorded via transcripts.
