Pay Information $1,885 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Prior experience in a progressive care setting preferred. - Experience with titrating cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring is required. - Ability to work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents and geriatrics. Description: Minimum experience required is 1 year. First-time travelers are accepted. The unit cares for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The work environment includes mixed medical/surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care patients. Clinical responsibilities include caring for neuro, respiratory, and cardiac patients. The staffing ratio is 1 nurse for every 4 to 5 patients. Work assignments may be fully in Progressive Care Unit, fully in medical/surgical, or a combination of both depending on patient acuity and staffing needs. Floating to other units within the facility may be required. Weekend work is expected every other weekend. Holiday work is required if one or more major holidays fall during the assignment period. All personnel must maintain full compliance to ensure an on-time start. Documentation and orientation hours are required prior to starting the position.
