TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Pay Information $2,005 per week About The Position Job Title: Charge Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 Year (First Timers Accepted) License: GA or Compact License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Full compliance required to start on time. - Availability to work major holidays as outlined. Description: Unit seeking Charge Nurse for this position. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. General skills and work setting requirements include: mixed medical-surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care patients. Small population includes neuro, respiratory, and cardiac patients. Titrating cardiac drips and telemetry experience required. Assignments could be all PCU, all medical-surgical/telemetry, or a mix of both depending on patient acuity and staffing needs. Staffing ratio is 1:4-5. Unit is equipped with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. Scrub color is navy blue. Mandatory weekends include every other weekend. Floating may be required within the facility. No call requirements entail that staff are not expected to be on call. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work two of them. No exemption requests for holiday availability will be considered. Compliance documentation must be submitted by the deadline to ensure timely onboarding.
