Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Circulate and scrub experience required Description: Minimum experience of 1 year is required. First-timers are accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Main OR for General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal. Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and 2 Davinci XI Robots. Scrub color is provided by the facility. Scheduled time off (RTO) is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Weekend shifts average 2-3 shifts per contract period. Floating between units is rare. Call requirements average 6-7 calls in a 6-week period. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance with required documents is essential to start on time. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Two supervisory references are highly preferred for submission. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the organization before rebooking.
