Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER)
Location: Augusta, GA 30901 Start Date: 07/21/2025 Contract Length:
12 Weeks Shift: Nights, 4x12 (19:00 – 07:00) Unit Information Unit:
Emergency Department (Unit 71020) Beds: 74 Daily Census: 165–175
patients Patient Ratio: 1:4 (all shifts) Patient Population:
Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Charting: Epic (required) Medication System: Pyxis Scrub Color:
Navy Blue Required Experience and Certifications Minimum
Experience: 2 years of ER nursing HARD STOP: Travel experience
required. Must have completed at least 2–3 ER travel contracts.
Candidates without travel experience will not be considered.
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Preferred
Experience Teaching hospital experience Community hospital
experience Trauma Level I or II experience Charge experience
preferred Core ER Skills Required Triage Pediatric and adult
emergency care IV therapy, Phlebotomy Starting IVs, Blood product
administration Central and arterial line management Chest tube
management CPAP/BiPAP Intubation Ventilator management Emergency
medications, IV vasopressors Procedural sedation administration
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management Obtain 12-lead EKG
Psychiatric emergencies, behavioral health management Orthopedic
injury management and splinting Isolation precautions
Certifications/Skills Preferred TNCC*, SANE* ICP monitoring*
Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure* Interpretation
of ABGs* Neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury Gunshot wounds*,
