Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Flexibility to float to various units. - Ability to work every other weekend. - Availability to work major holidays as required. Description: Guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week. Floating required to all Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical/Telemetry units. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Orientation consists of 13 hours. Compliance required to start on time, with timely submission of core items and lab scheduling. Must be available for major holidays during assignment. Expected to work one or two major holidays if they occur during the assignment. More than two major holidays require availability to work two of the holidays. Modules are completed during orientation and are non-billable. Two supervisory references preferred for submission. No holiday requests can be submitted for major holidays. Must have completed one successful assignment outside of previous facilities to return.
