Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Inpatient Job Details: • Work day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM • Every other weekend schedule required • Work 2 major and 2 minor holidays • Must have heparin IV administration experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License • Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews • Complete timely documentation and promote respectful clinical environment • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice • Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments • Serve as preceptor or mentor for other nurses and healthcare staff • Associate's degree in nursing or graduate of accredited nursing school required • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • Less than 1 year experience acceptable with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills required • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that operates under a shared governance model and professional practice framework focused on evidence-based care.
