Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit – Georgia Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts; 36 or 48 hours guaranteed weekly Highlights: Fast-paced Progressive Care / Admit Unit serving adults and geriatric patients 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with 12-bed unit capacity Intermediate acuity patient population including dysrhythmias, CHF, acute stroke, and Acute Coronary Syndrome All patients on hardwire telemetry monitored by the RN; Epic EMR and Pyxis systems in use Weekend-focused schedule with every-other-weekend rotation Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand at time of application Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and cardiac drip management Epic charting experience strongly preferred Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Progressive Care Unit offers a collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care and efficient throughput.
