Pyramid Consulting is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN Acute Care for a per diem / prn nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/23/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality acute care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice Perform comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status Provide patient- and family-centered care, education, and support Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support patient safety initiatives, quality improvement, and compliance standards Participate in professional development, education, and competency requirements Serve as a preceptor/mentor as needed and support team-based care delivery Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: Active RN license (State or Compact) Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Recent acute care RN experience required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills BLS required; ACLS preferred or obtainable upon hire Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 404(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance for eligible positions About Pyramid Consulting Supercharge your career with Pyramid Consulting.
