2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Clinical
experience with oncology and surgical trauma patients. Experience
in wound care and dressing changes, TPN, PPN, NG tubes, CBI, Foley
catheters, PICC lines, and ports. Experience in pain management and
telemetry monitoring. Description: The registered nurse will
provide care for adult and geriatric patients. The patient
population primarily consists of post-surgical patients with some
stroke overflow. The nurse will perform wound care and dressing
changes as needed. The nurse will manage TPN and PPN as required.
They will also care for patients with NG tubes, CBI, Foley
catheters, and PICC lines. Pain management is a key component of
care on this unit. The nurse will utilize electronic health records
and medication management systems. Staffing ratios are typically
1:5-6 for each nurse. The unit consists of 16 beds.
Interdisciplinary support services are available, including
physical therapy and pharmacy. The nurse will work every other
weekend unless otherwise specified. There are no call requirements
for this position. If one major holiday occurs during the
assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it. If two major
holidays occur, the nurse is expected to work both. If three major
holidays occur, the nurse is expected to work two of the holidays.
Compliance with all requirements is necessary to start on time. Two
supervisory references are preferred at the time of submission.
Maximum 7 days of requested time off. Mandatory holiday scheduling
