Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,926 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Opportunity – Progressive Care / Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Georgia Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call; flexible shift options based on unit needs and acuity Highlights: Mixed progressive care and medical-surgical telemetry unit with diverse patient population including neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and medical patients Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with assignments that may include all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a combination based on acuity Cardiac drip titration required; experience managing vasoactive drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing telemetry patients essential Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols Maximum 7 days of requested time off; flexible orientation hours based on contract length First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Minimum 1 year of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience Proficiency in cardiac drip titration, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia management Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, central line management, blood product administration, and tracheostomy care Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Willingness to float within facility and scope of practice as needed Must be available to work major holidays that fall during assignment period per facility policy Why It's a Great Opportunity: This stepdown unit offers an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical skills across a diverse patient population while working in a supportive environment with strong interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
