Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,980 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: 1. Experience with titrating cardiac drips. 2. Experience with telemetry. 3. Prior experience in a mixed medical/surgical and intermediate care setting. Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. Responsibilities include managing a mixed population of medical/surgical and cardiac patients. Nurses will work with patients who may require neuro, respiratory, and cardiac care. Assignments may consist of all PCU, all medical/surgical telemetry, or a combination based on patient acuity. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:4-5. Candidates must be able to monitor telemetry and manage various nursing interventions. Floating within the facility may be required. There are no call requirements associated with this position. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work. If two major holidays occur, the candidate is required to work both. Should three major holidays occur, the candidate is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance with all requirements is essential for timely start.
