working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: -
Experience in a fast-paced emergency department with high acuity -
Proficient in Epic charting system Description: Minimum experience
required is 2 years. First-time travelers are not accepted. The
patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. The unit is
a very large and busy emergency department. The department is
certified in Stroke and STEMI care. The nurse-to-patient ratio is
1:4. The emergency department has 59 beds and averages 165-175
patients per day. Floating is rare within the department. Holidays
are expected to be worked if they fall during the assignment
period. Compliance is required to start on time; any delays may
push back the start date. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to
determine fit. References should be supervisory and from a manager
or above. RTO must be a maximum of 7 days. If three major holidays
occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two
of the holidays. Candidates must complete necessary documentation
promptly to ensure timely onboarding. Specific patient care skills
are required, including but not limited to: - Managing patients
with acute conditions - Administration of emergency medications -
Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Care for ventilated patients -
Triage and assessment of diverse patient populations - IV
management and starting new IVs - Performing necessary assessments
and interventions Candidates should be familiar with protocols
related to trauma and emergency care. All submissions must conform
to stated compliance documents by the deadline. Availability to
submit core items is essential to ensure a successful start. 5
