Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License:
Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have
at least 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system. Must
float to other units as required. Description: This position is for
a night shift registered nurse in the medical surgical specialty.
The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend
coverage is required every other week. The floating requirement is
necessary to address patient census concerns. The patient
population is primarily elderly with various medical conditions,
including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and
neurological issues. Medication administration will utilize an
automated system. The unit encourages a healthy work environment
and promotes teamwork. A charge nurse will be present on each shift
to facilitate operations. Interdisciplinary support is available on
the unit. Patient ratios for days and nights are approximately 1:5
to 1:6. The unit features a patient census of around 20. All staff
must adhere to the floating policy and be qualified for the
