Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Seneca, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Seneca, South Carolina, 29672! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: 1 year of EPIC experience is required. Description: This position requires floating to other units as needed. The adult population may include respiratory failure, acute or suspected MI, CHF, arrhythmias, pulmonary embolism, COPD, GI bleeding, sepsis, hypotension, overdose, hypertensive crisis, stroke, transient ischemic attacks, and seizures. Special services and procedures particular to this area include intubation, mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz pulmonary artery lines, hemodynamic monitoring, tracheostomies, thrombolytic administration, antiarrhythmic therapy, vasopressor therapy, bedside monitoring, apnea monitoring, temporary pacers, transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, negative pressure isolation, and dialysis. Frequent monitoring is required for patients with lower NIHSS after receiving Alteplase, as well as for other neurologically injured patients. Required patient ratios are 1:2-3. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
