Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Seneca, SC Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,826 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Seneca, South Carolina, 29672! ID: 75590378 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Description: Shift: Days 700-1930Float Required Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, GeriatricsMedication System: Omnicell1 year of EPIC experience is required ICU Medical is a 12 bed critical care unit. The adult population may include respiratory failure, acute or suspected MI, CHF, arrhythmias, pulmonary embolism, COPD, GI bleeding, sepsis. hypotension, overdose and hypertensive crisis, stroke, transient ischemic attacks and seizures. Special services and procedures particular to this area include: intubation/ mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz pulmonary artery lines (hemodynamic monitoring), tracheostomies (new), thrombolytic administration, antiarrhythmic therapy (I.V.), vasopressor therapy (I.V.), bedside monitoring, apnea monitoring, temporary pacers (external and transvenous), TEE, cardioversion, negative pressure isolation (AFB) and dialysis. These may include patients with lower NIHSS after receiving Alteplase requiring frequent monitoring, as well as other neurologically injured patients requiring every 1 -2 hours neuro checks. The majority of stroke patients are admitted to this unit.Required Certificates: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and SC RN license2 years of experience are required. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented. Special Equipment : Transcribed 3.5.25 DG Tier3 Travel Compliance Extensions: Effective 2/1/26 (Nursing only, excluding CVOR) Travelers cannot extend for a 4 th consecutive contract. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to an employee status after working their third consecutive 13-week contract or after 39 weeks. If the traveler does not wish to convert to a team member status, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before they are eligible to return as a traveler for the organization. Travelers must be 100 miles from every Prisma facility (regardless of where they are applying) to be eligible to travel in the system, unless they are one of the two exceptions below 90-99.9 miles are accepted at a 10% bill rate reduction 100 miles full bill rate Exception 1: Night shift travelers for below specialties must be 50 miles ONLY from the contracted campus they re applying to. Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible. Adult Multi-Specialty Adult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive Care All RRT Exception 2: Below specialties must be 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital ( Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville). Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible. Operating Room (including allied and SPT) Cath Lab (including allied) CT / MRI / IR Techs / Echo Techs MLTs, SLPs, PTs, OTs, Dietitians Adult ICU Prisma Health Tuomey (All open positions) Local radius: 60 miles For CRNAs only Will consider nurses with 1 years of recent experience in unit. Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday. Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.
