Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert perioperative nursing care for operating room patients, focusing on vascular and endovascular procedures Respond rapidly and effectively to Level I trauma activations alongside the multidisciplinary team Prepare the OR and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for complex vascular cases Support surgeons and interventional teams during procedures with sterile technique and clinical judgment Participate in on-call coverage and holiday/weekend staffing as scheduled Document patient care accurately and communicate handoffs clearly to maintain continuity Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Operating Room nursing experience with a strong perioperative background Experience with vascular and endovascular procedures Large Level I trauma experience as demonstrated in work history Prior travel assignment experience is a plus Availability for call, weekend, and holiday coverage Knowledge & Skills Perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique Trauma care workflows and rapid response in a Level I setting Vascular and endovascular procedural knowledge and instrumentation Ability to function effectively on night shifts and during on-call periods Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills Benefits Supportive team environment that values your experience and growth Comprehensive onboarding so you hit the floor confident and capable Licensure assistance and reimbursement to keep credentials current Travel support and coordination tailored for contract clinicians Flexible scheduling conversations to help balance work and life Access to continuing education opportunities and skills refreshers Robust clinical resources and experienced perioperative colleagues Opportunity to build strong trauma and vascular expertise at a Level I center Travel Perks: Explore Atlanta, GA Atlanta is a vibrant city with plenty to explore between assignments.
