Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 1:5 patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts
per 6-week schedule period; floating within facility as needed
Highlights: Cardiac telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric
populations Case mix includes post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias,
chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease Epic EMR system with
Pyxis and SBAR protocols 16-bed unit with average daily census of
16 patients First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year
experience Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV
teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand
at time of submittal) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1
year of cardiac telemetry nursing experience Experience with 1:5
patient ratios Epic charting system experience required Proficiency
in telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, management of
dysrhythmias, and cardiac drip management Skills in central line
care, IV therapy, chest tube management, peritoneal dialysis, and
wound care Two supervisory references (Manager level or above)
highly preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions
only) Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
