Medical-Surgical/Telemetry & Progressive Care (PCU) RN – Georgia
Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 hours per
week; every other weekend required; rotating day/night availability
Highlights: Mixed medical-surgical/telemetry and progressive care
unit serving a diverse patient population from adolescents to
geriatrics Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with a variety of assignments
including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and general medical patients
Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR
communication protocols Opportunity to work with intermediate care
patients requiring cardiac drip titration, telemetry monitoring,
and advanced respiratory support including BiPAP and high-flow
nasal cannula Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and
rapid response teams First-time travelers accepted with minimum one
year of experience Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN
license (must be in hand at time of application) Current
certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Minimum one year of
recent RN experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or progressive
care setting Demonstrated competency in telemetry interpretation,
cardiac drip titration, and management of acute medical patients
Experience with Epic charting system preferred Two supervisory
references required (Manager level or above) Flu vaccination
required (medical/religious exemptions only) Ability to float
