Description: The position is within a Hemodialysis Unit with a
capacity of 4 regular beds and 2 for COVID patients. Staffing
includes registered nurses, transport technicians, and dialysis
technicians. The unit utilizes Tablo, Prisma-flex, and NexStage
equipment. Documentation is done through Meditech. Scheduling
requirements are Monday to Friday. There is no floating policy.
Patient experience requirements are hospital-specific. Procedures
performed in the unit include: - Transportation of patients to and
from the dialysis suite - Transportation of dialysis supplies to
and from patient rooms - Delivery of specimens to the lab -
Disinfection and culturing of all dialysis machines and reverse
osmosis systems - Routine maintenance of dialysis equipment -
Inventory and ordering of dialysis supplies - Utilization of
equipment to perform dialysis treatments - Patient care during
