Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR Adult /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM /n• Function under the direction of registered professional nurse in moderate to high acuity surgical cases /n• Prepare operative suite and surgical field ensuring safe patient care environment /n• Maintain sterile field and assist with room set-up including opening sterile supplies /n• Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications in prioritized manner /n• Perform surgical counts with circulator and participate in procedure pause/time-out /n• Scrub, gown, and glove; assist with gowning and gloving surgeon and assistants /n• Pass instruments to surgeon and maintain organized back table and operative field /n• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide suggestions throughout procedures /n• Prepare sterile dressings and participate in post-procedure pause /n• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization /n• Assist with patient transport and room turnover between cases /n• Maintain stock and medical supplies, assist with inventory and ordering /n• Call or late coverage may be required /n• Required certifications: BLS, CST or equivalent surgical technology certification /n• High school diploma or GED required, surgical technology program completion required /n• National certification required upon hire /n• Must complete 20 hours continuing education per evaluation period /n• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and ability to work in stressful situations required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive surgical services department specializing in cardiovascular and other complex surgical procedures.
