Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Location: Aiken, SC 29801, USA Shift: Night Shifts|(3 x 12-hour shifts) Duration: 2 Months Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care for women of childbearing age. The RN will manage admissions, discharges, triage, scheduled procedures, and both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Care for patients from 17 weeks gestation through labor and delivery. Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM). Assist with scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage when applicable. Perform pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care for laboring patients. Document patient care accurately using Cerner and Fetalink systems. Participate in triage, admissions, discharges, and transfers. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care. Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the practicing state/district. Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience. Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Certification in CPI, BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Intermediate competency in electronic fetal monitoring (AWHONN EFM). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Must reside within 100 miles of Aiken, SC.
