ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Provide nursing care on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients • Titrate cardiac drips with continuous telemetry monitoring required • Maintain 1:4 patient ratio caring for PCU level patients • Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere • Float within facility/scope of practice as needed • No call requirements • Work major holidays if they fall during assignment period • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed • RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) • Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Must wear navy blue scrubs • Work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems • Care for patient population from adolescents to geriatrics • 36 bed unit with average daily census of 30 • Skills required include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, neuro stepdown care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management • Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, central line care, blood product administration, and tracheostomy care • Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week push back if not compliant Facility: This healthcare facility features a progressive care unit specializing in neuro/stroke patients alongside respiratory and cardiac care.
