experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty
in Emergency Room care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
2 years of experience. Previous charge experience is preferred.
Candidates must be comfortable working with patients ranging from
adolescents to geriatrics. The emergency department is large and
busy with high acuity. General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma)
experience is required. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4 with a daily
average of 165-175 patients. The unit is Stroke and STEMI
certified. Candidates must have experience managing patients with
multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Skills in arterial line
management and ICP monitoring are necessary. Candidates should be
proficient in obtaining 12 lead EKGs and interpreting dysrhythmias.
Experience with blood product administration, central line care,
and management of ventilated patients is also required. The ability
to manage mental health conditions and acute psychosis is
essential. Travel experience is required. Local candidates will be
considered. All applicants must be fully compliant with hiring
