Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,020 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. AWHONN Intermediate preferred. Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery. Ability to work in a team-based unit. Description: We are looking for motivated, experienced labor and delivery nurses. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. The patient population includes neonates, infants, and adults. Routine skills include managing labor (vaginal births), C-sections, multiple births, and postpartum hemorrhage. Knowledge of pregnancy-induced hypertension is essential. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. The unit has 16 labor and delivery beds with an average daily census of 15. Familiarity with electronic health records is required. Travelers should expect to float within the facility as needed. Call requirements include two calls per six weeks. If a major holiday falls during the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it. Work responsibilities also include various clinical tasks related to obstetrical care. Nurses must be diligent and highly responsive in emergency situations. Collaborative interdisciplinary support is available.
