Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an 8-week

Overview /n/n The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will
provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients requiring
advanced airway management and ventilator support. This role
involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and
interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality respiratory therapy
services in a tracheostomy and ventilator-focused unit. /n/n Job
Responsibilities /n/n • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with
acute and chronic respiratory conditions /n• Manage and maintain
mechanical ventilators, including ventilator setup, monitoring, and
troubleshooting /n• Provide care for patients with tracheostomies
and ventilator dependence /n• Administer respiratory therapies
including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance
techniques /n• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret
results to adjust respiratory care plans /n• Respond to rapid
response and code situations as part of the respiratory care team
/n• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop
individualized respiratory treatment plans /n• Educate patients and
families on respiratory therapies and disease management /n• Ensure
accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and
regulatory standards /n• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and
ensure compliance with infection control standards /n/n Education &
Certification Requirements /n/n • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program /n• Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for
Respiratory Care (NBRC) /n• Active Georgia Respiratory Care License
or eligibility to obtain /n• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required /n• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred /n• Minimum 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience,
preferably in acute care or ventilator management settings /n•
Strong experience with tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilation
