Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Compact or Georgia license required at the time of submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in Medical Surgical nursing - Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 - Proficient in Epic charting system - Ability to float within the facility as needed Description: This position is focused on providing care to adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with renal conditions. Minimum experience required is one year, and first-time travelers are accepted. The daily census for this unit averages around 48 patients. The unit comprises 49 rooms. Nurses will be expected to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. The nurse will need to be familiar with various medical procedures and skilled in managing telemetry and medical-surgical care. There are no call requirements for this position. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work it. If two or more major holidays occur during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work two of those holidays.
