Perfusionist Location: Greenville, SC Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $140 to $150 per hour Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $140.00 - $150.00/Hourly. Summary: A Perfusionist is a specialized healthcare professional who operates the heart-lung machine and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac and major vascular surgeries. They are responsible for maintaining a patient’s circulation and oxygenation when the heart and lungs are temporarily stopped, ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: Operate and manage the heart-lung machine during open-heart and vascular surgeries. Monitor and control blood flow, oxygen levels, and patient vital parameters. Administer blood products, medications, and anesthetic agents as directed. Set up, prime, and test perfusion equipment before procedures. Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams. Requirements Requirements: 5 - Year experience Required, Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP), Locals not accepted.
